Bank Holiday Flop

WOW! What an eventful Bank Holiday weekend…NOT! While all you lucky, lucky people with social lives have been out partying and frolicking in the rain I have been discovering (since Thursday) the renewed joys of Mario Party (version 1) on my Nintendo 64 whilst feeling extremely sorry for myself, dosed up on antibiotics and getting a red nose that only Rudolf could be proud of…

However, there is a bright side- sort of. Whilst browsing the www. for a picture of my retro delight to share with you beauties, I discovered this little gem…

James, the loved up lovely over at Thrusting Pens painted this for his girlfriend for their anniversary back in 2010, how cute! This Cath Kidston inspired Nintendo 64 console is AMAZING to say the very least.

Now my boyfriend gained many points back in Christmas 2009 when he purchased the very same console along with my all time favourite game, well the only game really, Mario Party. However, he is now suffering the wrath for having not got all creative and done a mini make over on it like this one! I am tres jealous of this Little Beauty.

So, yeah, thats pretty much it guys. Sorry! Since last Thursday me and my bed have been besties and I have absolutely nothing but a new high score and a complete mini-game-island to show for my efforts. Bad times for a girl who is obsessed with wasting time!
